Meeting Your Required Date

We do invite you to place a "Party Date" date at checkout and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate this requirement. However, we advise that we will not be bound by this date. Should an order be shipped and arrive after your Required By date with no previous notification of Cancellation, our Returns Policy will apply.

UK Standard Delivery: £4.99 per order

For this option we use the Royal Mail or Hermes delivery . There is no tracking facility available and delivery will normally be 4-5 working days after confirmed receipt of your order but can take up to 10 working days.

UK Next Day Delivery (order before 1pm Monday to Thursday): £ 9.99 per order

For this service we use either the Royal Mail Special Delivery or a courier company. Both of these methods require a signature on delivery and you should ensure that someone will be available at the address to receive the goods. Delivery will be the next working day after confirmed receipt of your order. You will be emailed a tracking number for this service as soon as your goods are packed ready for dispatch. You should expect delivery the next working day after receipt of the tracking number. Delivery can be any time of the day up to 5.30 pm

Our delivery methods allow full trace of your shipment from dispatch until delivered and signed for by you. Whatever method we use will always require a signature on arrival. Our charges to you cover all postage packing and insurance up to the value of the goods you are buying.

Returns Policy

All goods purchased from Party-World.co.uk may be returned for refund, exchange or replacement within 7 working days from receipt of delivery [*].

You may return any purchase made over the web to us subject to the following:
Items must be returned within 7 days of purchase
Items must be unused and in a saleable condition
Items such as makeup, teeth, Novelty Items or underwear must be returned unopened and unused and the tamper seals are in place where tamper seals are provided
Before returning anything you must contact us and we will give you a Goods Returns Number. This number must be included with the returned items otherwise we will be unable to process them.

Include the delivery note or a copy of your email invoice with the goods Send the goods in appropriate packaging, as failure to do so may result in delay of any refund
We do not refund shipping costs: it is your responsibility to return items to us; we recommend recorded delivery or Royal Mail special delivery Party World cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods whilst they are being returned. FREE SHIPPING orders will upon returning goods have the shipping rate deducted when refunding back on to cards.

Refunds will be made to the card that was used in the original purchase or a cheque made payable to the cardholder if the card is no longer valid. You must follow our instructions for returning goods (see below).

May we please ask you to additionally note:
You must take care of our goods whilst they are in your possession and any item for return must be received back in its original shipped condition and original packing with picture card. The item must be without damage or use and in a suitable condition for resale. All original packaging including picture/header cards should accompany any returned item undamaged. We cannot accept returns for exchange or refund if such items have been opened from a sealed package (Costumes do not typically come in sealed packages and you can try them on). All items will be inspected on their return to us. We are not a manufacturer, so the whole product and packaging must be returned as the same condition as you would have received it and how you may expect to receive it. If the product or packaging with picture card is in any way missing, damaged/split or the costumes smell that they have been worn over a period of time, we cannot refund. That you or your carriers are responsible for any returned goods until they reach our warehouse. Cost and Risk of return will be at your expense and we strongly recommend that you receive proof of posting or use Royal Mail's "Recorded Signed" or "Special Delivery" service.

We regret outbound shipping, packing and insurance cannot be refunded. We try to make refunds within one week of receipt back to us though promise to make all refunds within 30 calendar days from receipt of goods to our warehouse. Please note that we will not be held liable for any interest payment that you may incur because any refund was made outside of your credit/debit card timescales. Please return the goods to the address on the top of your receipt/invoice including the Invoice Number. Any returned items not including such information may well be delayed.

Any returned goods that we receive which are outside of this Returns Policy would be defined as 'In Dispute'. Such 'In Dispute' items will not be refunded or exchanged. A reason for this decision will be provided. We are happy to re-ship such ‘In Dispute' items back to you at your cost; otherwise they will be destroyed within 91 calendar days from their receipt back to us.

We are sorry but due to false promises in the past, we are unable to replace or exchange an item until the original is returned to Party-world.co.uk. If you need an item in a hurry, we suggest you place a second order for the new item and send the original back at a later date.

Sometimes and especially if goods are purchased in advance for a present or delivered while on holiday, aforementioned 7 day response timescales can be missed. Therefore, without prejudice and as a gesture of goodwill, we are happy to consider the following remedy on a case-by-case basis

Should an item not be required and is returned and received by us between 7 working days and 30 calendar days, we will be happy to accept the item(s) back with refund of goods to the value of 70% of the purchase price (excluding shipping) if taken as a gift certificate redeemable in future for use at Party-World.co.uk or in store at Party World Sandhurst.

Should an item be returned and received after 30 calendar days, we will have no obligation to refund. If you wish the item resent to you, we will ask for a nominal fee to cover additional shipping costs. * "7 working days from receipt of delivery" shall be defined as the date from when your shipment is received by you, being the date of signature that the package is received by you.

Returns Policy - Faulty Goods

Should a product be faulty, you should let us know immediately as we will happily refund or exchange it for you. You should let us know as soon as possible via email (or telephone first) within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery. You will need to include the Invoice/Order Number, your name and postcode with your parcel back to us as failure to do so will result in delay of any refund. May we please ask you to additionally note:

We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, misuse or alteration or repair of the ordered goods without our approval.

Please return the goods to the address on the top of your receipt/invoice including the Invoice Number. Any returned items not including such information will have actions delayed.

Any returned goods that we receive which are outside of this Returns Policy would be defined as 'In Dispute'. Such In Dispute items will not be refunded or exchanged. You are responsible for the safe return of the goods and all costs associated with returning your order. In the event of a refused delivery by any of our delivery carriers you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items as charged to us by our carrier which is £15.

These costs are also applied where our carrier has attempted delivery and contacted you to make arrangement for redelivery and redelivery was not possible causing the goods to be returned to us.

£15 is applied for all returned, refused or attempted delivery courier packages.

Pick Up From Our Shop at 406 Yorktown Road College Town Sandhurst Berkshire GU47 0PR

Our shop is located in Sandhurst Berkshire by the back gate of the RMA. By selecting the pick up option, your order will be processed and ready for collection from our shop. Your order will be ready for collection after you have received an email from us headed order collection notification, normally within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Please note that all pickups must be paid for via our website. Please check your email to confirm goods are available for pickup.
